Elizabeth "Liz" Blemings holds the globally recognized professional designation of Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and is a Debt Capital Markets Associate at Bank of America in New York. At West Virginia University, she received a Bachelor of Science in Economics and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in Finance. As an undergraduate, she studied abroad in Italy, China, Bahrain, Jordan, and Ireland.
Garrett Burgess, WVU Order of Augusta 2018
Capt. Garrett Burgess currently serves as Regional Watch Officer at US Indo-Pacific Command in Honolulu, Hawaii. In this position, he partners closely with other components of the U.S. Intelligence Community, sub-unified commands, theater components, allies, and foreign partners to provide all-source, multidisciplinary intelligence, situational awareness, initial analysis, and threat-based warning to support USINDOPACOM's operations and decision-making. Prior to that appointment, he was the Deputy Senior Intelligence Officer at Andrews AFB in Maryland where he directed the 20-member flight for Presidential movement and airlift security. After receiving his Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and Affairs, Russian Language from West Virginia University, he received a Master of Science in Data Analytics from The Johns Hopkins University.
